Third edition 15th, 16,th 17th, 18th September 2016

Champagne Production is glad to present the return of CLBF: four days of Burlesque and Vaudeville in Como!
The third weekend of September, Como will be transformed: a vintage atmosphere will take hold of the city, together with irony, glamour and seduction, hosting the third edition of an international burlesque festival.
Starting on Thursday with the “Vintage Party” the Great Opening on the lake, in an amazing location, as usual we will dance on swing and rock n’ roll music with Dj Boogie Rose.
On Saturday performers from all over the world will fight – exchanging bump ‘n grinds and shimmy shakes – to succeed our fabulous queens Wanda De Lullabies and, before her, Dee Dee Starrr for the title “Queen of the lake 2016”: the competition will take place on the 17th of September at Spazio Gloria (via Varesina 72) where, on the same night, we will host a Vintage Party on the rhytms of swing and electroswing.
During the four festival days the city will host numerous events in cooperation with shops, bars and clubs of the centre: countless will be also the vintage nights and evenings. Our signature “Burlesque in the City”.
On Saturday and Sunday the fitness club Palestra Cento will host all the burlesque lessons and workshops (for all kind and level of performer) held by the most known and renowned burlesque stars.

Special Guests and members of the jury: Russell Bruner (Boylesque, Swing dance r And Circus artist from USA), Lola Van Ella (international star from Saint Louis, USA), Wanda De Lullabies (our reigning Queen, from France), Dee Dee Starr (Queen of the Lake 2014), , Alan De Bevoise (italian boylesquer), Attilio Reinhardt (the author of the book “Burlesque: curve assassine, sorrisi di fuoco e piume di struzzo”), Pino di Bello (Teatro Sociale of Como).

On the stage you will also see Miss Sophie Champagne, founder of Champagne Production, italian agency for vintage events, and producer of the Festival.
